Effective September 6, 2011, Matulane® (procarbazine hydrochloride) capsules (NDC 54482-053-01) is distributed by Accredo Health Group Inc., a national specialty pharmacy. Matulane is no longer ordered from Sigma-Tau and can only be dispensed through Accredo Health Group, with the exception of VA/FSS orders.


Patients and Caregivers:

Effective September 6th, Matulane can no longer be dispensed by your local pharmacy. If your physician has prescribed Matulane please contact Accredo at (888) 608-9010, or fax your prescription to (888) 302-1028, to arrange the delivery of Matulane to your doorstep.

Healthcare Professionals and Pharmacies:

  • Outpatient physician prescriptions are now received, processed, and shipped by Accredo Health Group. Matulane prescriptions can be faxed to (888) 302-1028, then contact Accredo at (888) 608-9010 to arrange delivery of Matulane to the patient.
    • If you are a pharmacy in receipt of a Matulane prescription, fax to (888) 302-1028 and contact Accredo Health Group at (888) 608-9010.
    • If you are a pharmacy with Matulane inventory, contact Accredo Health Group at (888) 608-9010 to discuss a process that will potentially allow you to dispense remaining Matulane capsules in stock.
  • Inpatient hospital pharmacy orders are now received, processed, and shipped by Accredo’s wholesale division at (877) 900-9223. Orders can be faxed to (866) 628-8942 or emailed to wholesalefax@accredo.com. Non-order inquiries can be emailed to wholesalemem@accredo.com.

Wholesalers with VA and Federal Orders:

VA and Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) orders will continue to be processed and shipped by Sigma-Tau. These facilities will continue to place orders with their wholesalers to fax drop ship orders to (301) 948-3194, or contact Sigma-Tau at (800) 447-0169 and select option 2, or submit EDI trading partner ID: ZZ:SIGMATAUGE. Wholesalers can only process Matulane orders received from VA/FSS customers, please forward all other orders to Accredo.
